Who / What is LARO

laro-fp

LARO is a trade association representing recovery companies operating in London (within the M25).

LARO represents over 750 recovery industry vehicles operating on behalf of the major Motoring Organisations. We believe this gives us a significant voice in putting forward the views and needs of our members and also enables us to provide a guarantee of quality, standards and training that answers the requirements of our customers. Our customers range from the general public to the largest national motoring organisations such as the AA, RAC, Britannia Rescue and Green Flag. LARO members hold a very substantial investment in specialised recovery equipment, and therefore have an influence over the industry suppliers.

We feel that by working together, providers, customers and suppliers, we can raise the standards, image and efficiency of the recovery industry to the benefit of all concerned. Building a co-operative, communicative and mutually beneficial relationship with all the players involved is LARO’s goal. LARO members meet every two months to discuss issues of concern and interest to the membership. Guest speakers from relevant organisations attend each meeting in order to further relationships and increase networking. The LARO committee, on instructions from the membership, meets with representatives from all major organisations to discuss common issues and promote our aims.

A list of LARO members, the areas they cover and the services they offer can be found in the 'LARO Members' section.

We hope that this site will be of interest to members of the public, recovery operators and LARO members alike.
